This weekend Gregor and I went to Calgary. There we visited Jo, Jürgen, Andi and Maggi. They are colleagues of us and staying in Canada for doing an internship just like we. Except Maggi, who took a semester off to gain life-experience and care about Andi...:-).
On Saturday we visited Banff National Park. From Calgary it takes about one and a half hour to go there. We sauntered through the town for a while and then went up to the famous Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.
I like Banff N. P. but compared to Jasper N. P. it is much more touristy. But of course I am far from having seen all of the park...
On Saturday evening we went out for food and afterwards had some beer in a pub. It was a nice evening.
On Sunday we decided to go downtown. Calgary has a quiet nice skyline and some lovely parks.
Summing up we had a nice weekend and we hope to become invited again...;-)

Hello Babs,
na alles frisch und munter bei euch da oben? Ich schreibe mal hier auf deutsch, hoffe du bist mir nicht böse. Wie geht es dir denn, was gieng dieses Wochenende so? Wir waren wieder in den Bergen, siehe meinen Blog.
Und noch was schnelles, man schreibt Calgary mit a nicht mit o ;)
